Brainstorming Session 2024
On June 4th, 2024, IMC Krems University of Applied Sciences hosted an engaging brainstorming session as part of the 3rd International Conference for Alternative Finance Research. This session offered valuable insights that will help shape the direction of the SU-CCES! research project. The discussion centered around the role of public authorities and private companies in the evolving landscape of crowdfunding. A diverse group of international academics and experts attended. Their expertise and perspectives provided valuable input for our ongoing work in promoting civic engagement and sustainable funding initiatives through crowdfunding.

2nd Project Team Meeting 2024
The SU-CCES! project team gathered in Larisa for the second Transnational Partner Meeting, hosted by the Institute of Entrepreneurship Development (iED). Andreas Almpanis, Katerina Diminikou and Veronica Filippou welcomed us with an inspiring tour of JOIST Innovation Park, highlighting its mission and impact on local, regional, and international levels. The meeting focused on reviewing project progress, key deliverables, and planning the next steps.

Teaching Concept Rountable - Austria
This week, an inspiring discussion was held by the IMC Krems University of Applied Sciences team as part of the EU-funded SU-CCES! project. Educators, industry professionals, and engaged individuals were brought together to exchange innovative ideas on shaping the future of education. The focus was placed on Sustainable Development Goals, Crowdfunding, and Civic Crowdfunding - critical themes for preparing the next generation of students. Engaging discussions were sparked, which will inform the development of an innovative textbook and a practice-oriented toolbox designed to equip students with real-world knowledge and skills. Through these collaborative efforts, educational tools are being created that bridge theory and practice—ensuring a lasting impact for both educators and learners.

Teaching Concept Roundtable - Poland
A roundtable discussion titled "SDGs and Crowdfunding in Education: Teaching Concepts" was hosted at the University of Gdańsk, in collaboration with BISER – Bałtycki Instytut Spraw Europejskich i Regionalnych. The event was organized as part of the SU-CCES! project, co-funded by the European Union. During the session, the effective integration of civic crowdfunding and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into educational curricula was examined. Insights were shared by representatives from NGOs, educators, academics, and students. Innovative teaching approaches, the development of enriching educational materials, and the use of digital technologies to enhance engagement were discussed in depth. A wide range of valuable perspectives was contributed, and participants’ input was deeply appreciated. The session was regarded as both inspiring and informative. Gratitude is extended to all who took part for their active involvement and valuable contributions.
