Sustainable Communities & Crowdfunding Education Support

The Su-cces! project is an international collaborative project that aims to promote civic engagement within communities and create a sense of shared responsibility toward achieving sustainable development goals. It is structured around three thematic pillars including: Sustainability, Civic Action, and Crowdfunding. 

The project is supported by the Erasmus+ program, lead by the IMC Krems University of Applied Sciences in Austria, and organized in collaboration with a cross-disciplinary team from the University of Agder's School of Business and Law (Norway), University of Gdansk (Poland), Bucharest University of Economic Studies (Romania), BISER Baltic Institute of Regional and Economic Affairs (Poland), and the IED Institute of Entrepreneurship Development (Greece).

Milestones

2023-2024

Mapping Knowledge and Needs

  • Conducting literature reviews on civic crowdfunding and crowdfunding sustainability.

  • Cross-country survey of public sentiments and understanding.

  • Round-tables with stakeholders for identifying needs, current practices, and example cases.

2024-2025

Developing educational program

  • Development of modules for educational program.

  • Development of educational materials.

  • Round-tables with stakeholders for identifying educational needs and preferences.

  • Reporting research results.

2025-2026

Piloting educational program

  • Testing materials and modules.

  • Running an internaltional course with participants from multiple countries.

  • Publishing research results.
